the berenstain bears are coming to the big screen
papa bear, mama bear, brother bear and sister bear will soon be at a multiplex near you. shawn levy, who directed night at the museum will produce for walden media, the company behind the chronicles of narnia, bridge to terabithia and other underwhelming book-to-movie properties. levy says it’ll be a mix of live-action and cgi. does that mean it’ll look like garfield the movie? because that’s what america really wants…then again, that chipmunks movie made $200million, so what do i know?
btw, the berenstain bears books first hit shelves in 1962 - it took hollywood 47 years to get this idea in motion? i’m shocked!
